Venture capital firm Runa Capital has made a cash offer to acquire MariaDB at a price of 56 cents per share. With a current stake of 7.8% in the company, Runa Capital believes this offer represents a premium of approximately 24% based on the closing price on September 13. Following this announcement, MariaDB shares experienced a significant increase of 24% to reach 53 cents during after-hours trading.
