European Markets

The Stoxx Europe 600 showed no significant changes in morning trading. However, there were notable movements in individual stocks. Billerud experienced a 6.6% rise, while Hargreaves Lansdown saw a 3.8% increase. On the other hand, Kingfisher recorded a 5.2% loss, and alstria office REIT slipped by 4.6%. Currency and Commodities

The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index climbed by 0.1% to reach 99.34.

In the commodities market, Brent crude increased by 0.5% and reached $94.88 per barrel, while WTI crude rose by 1.1% to $92.52 per barrel.

Bond Yields

The yield on the German 10-year Bund stayed flat at 2.707%. Meanwhile, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury increased by 1 basis point to 4.322% from 4.309%. Bond prices and yields generally move in opposite directions.

Asian Stocks

In Asia, the Nikkei 225 index in Japan declined by 0.9%, whereas Hong Kong's Hang Seng experienced a gain of 0.3%. China's benchmark Shanghai Composite remained steady.
