U.S. Futures

Futures for the S&P 500 increased by 0.1% in the United States, while futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average remained flat. It is important to note that changes in futures do not necessarily predict market movement after the opening bell.

European Market

In morning trading, the Stoxx Europe 600 experienced a 0.7% climb. Delivery Hero saw a rise of 6.6%, and Sampo Series A added 5.2%. However, Flutter Entertainment dropped 4.9%, and Hiscox slipped 3%. The FTSE 100 also added 0.7%. Additionally, France's CAC 40 gained 1%, and Germany's DAX rose by 0.8%.

Wall Street Journal Dollar Index

The Wall Street Journal Dollar Index witnessed a decline of 0.2%, settling at 97.08.

Commodity Prices

Commodity-wise, Brent crude remained unchanged at $86.14 a barrel, whereas WTI crude fell by 0.1% to $82.87 a barrel.

Bond Yields

The German 10-year Bund yield and the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury were both relatively stable. The German Bund yield remained flat at 2.471%, while the U.S. Treasury yield saw a slight decline of 1 basis point, moving from 4.033% to 4.026%. It is important to remember that bond prices and yields have an inverse relationship.

Asian Stock Market

In Asia, stock performance was mixed. Japan's Nikkei 225 index faced a decline of 0.5%, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng saw a gain of 0.1%. China's benchmark Shanghai Composite, on the other hand, experienced a decline of 0.5%.
